One thing that I really LOVE about Houston is the New York Bagel Shop (a.k.a. "The Bagel Shop") It's right around the corner from my great-grandma's house, and they have the yumskiest bagels on the planet!!
Bagels are round, so they are a fun shape to roll.
You can take a BIG bite, since they're super chewy on the outside, but soft and fluffy inside.
You really should try them yourself. I shouldn't keep talking with my mouth full.
