During Easter time, we get to celebrate the fact that Jesus is ALIVE! I think that is just awesome, and I am so glad we were able to spend time with our family! The day before Easter, we had an egg hunt at Grandma's house, and Nan and Granddad came with us!
"Heehee, I think I see something for me!"
I am pretty quick at opening presents: I take a present out of the bag, then put it down on the floor, then reach in for another one. I did this pretty quickly, but these bunny ears stopped me in my tracks! You know I can't pass on a good pair of ears! Then it was back to opening!
"I like opening presents!"
"I wonder what's next?"
After emptying my Easter baskets, I was ready to hunt for the eggs that Granddad hid in Grandma's yard.
"Hey, what's that?"
As you can see, I am one determined egg hunter!
I found every single egg except for one that was stuck in this little tree. That was the trickiest one, but I finally found it!
Once we got inside, I figured out that these eggs had yummy stuff inside like Goldfish, animal crackers, and little cookies!
When I couldn't open one, I told everybody "Uh oh, this locked!" Well, it obviously was...
"Hmmm... which one should I open next?"
The next morning was Easter Sunday. I went to church with Daddy, and Mommy taught Sunday School. It was very early when we took this picture.
After church and nap, we had dinner at Poppy and D's house. Cousins Taylor, Lauren, and Drew were there, and so were Uncle Dan, Aunt Marian, and Uncle Jamie! I was such a lucky girl, I got to go on a second egg hunt!
"Okay, Uncle Jamie, where did you and D hide those eggs?"
Every good egg hunter needs a outfit change! Now, where are those eggs?
Just like at Grandma's, there were super yummy treats inside the eggs! This time, I decided to make a snack mix with all of my findings.
"Wow! A super shiny egg! With colorful crackers! I love it!"
